DEFERRED: Hybrid Hearing Notice: Housing & Buildings and State & Federal Legislation - April 25, 10:
Please be advised that the New York City Council Committee on Housing and Buildings and the Committee on State and Federal Legislation will hold a joint HYBRID hearing on Monday, April 25 at 10:30 a.m. in Chambers, City Hall, New York, NY, and via Zoom web-conference, on “Examining State Proposals for Good Cause Eviction and Reforming the 421-a Tax Exemption Program.”

You are hereby invited to attend and testify, either live via video conferencing, or live in person at City Hall.
If you are planning on testifying live via video conferencing, please register at https://council.nyc.gov/testify/. The deadline to register to testify via Zoom web-conference is Sunday, April 24 at 10:30 a.m. Each person who intends to testify live via Zoom should register separately. Persons who do not register in advance will not be permitted to testify live via video conferencing. Participants who plan to testify in person at City Hall do not need to register in advance. If you plan to testify in person, it would be greatly appreciated if you could bring twenty (20) copies double-sided of your written testimony to the hearing.
Written testimony may be submitted without registration by emailing it to firstname.lastname@example.org or via the Council’s website athttps://council.nyc.gov/testify/ up to 72 hours after the close of the hearing.
The entrance to the hearing and restrooms at City Hall are fully accessible.
