DOB: Proposed Rule - Amendment of Elevator Safety and Elevator Inspection Rules

The Department of Buildings (DOB) is proposing to amend its rules regarding elevator agency licenses. DOB is also proposing to add a new section regarding elevator agency directors, inspectors, technicians and helpers.

This Proposed Rule – Amendment of Elevator Safety and Elevator Inspection Rules will take place remotely via Webex on Friday 2/11/22 at 11am. The Proposed rule will be published in the City Record on 1/12/22.

Please note the Department’s rules are also available for viewing and downloading on the DOB website athttp://www1.nyc.gov/site/buildings/codes/rules.page (the attached rule will not be available for viewing/downloading for several days)
