DOB: Zoning for Accessibility Text Amendment

Enclosed and for your review is the Service Notice that speaks to the Zoning for Accessibility Text Amendment.

On October 7, 2021 and effective that day, the New York City Council passed legislation amending the New York City Zoning Resolution (ZR) requiring developments and enlargements, as defined in ZR 12-10, that are within 50 feet of a mass transit station to comply with the amendments to ZR 66-20 and obtain approval from the Metropolitan Transportation Agency (MTA) prior to filing an application with the Department of Buildings.
